General Project Description

This project involves upgrading the facility's access control system from the existing WinPak platform to the County's enterprise access control system, Honeywell ProWatch, at 2724 Gateway Drive, Riverside, CA 92507. The scope includes upgrading five existing WinPak access control panels to Honeywell ProWatch 7K panels, reusing existing enclosures but replacing all internal WinPak components with new Honeywell ProWatch components, power supplies, daisy-chain cables, and batteries. The contractor, who must be a Honeywell ProWatch certified integrator, will perform panel upgrades during early morning hours, installing new ProWatch components, terminating and reconnecting wiring, and restoring access control service to affected doors before 7:00 a.m. The project also entails installing new reader licenses, programming, cabling, and closeout documentation, all in compliance with RCIT specifications and industry standards.
