General Project Description

This project involves the removal and replacement of existing gravity sewer lines along Third Street between Market Street and Vine Street to accommodate future increased sewer flows. The work includes extensive earthwork (trenching, excavation, backfill, compaction), removal and replacement of various surface improvements such as asphalt concrete pavement, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalks, driveways, cross gutters, and ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps. It also includes pipeline system rehabilitation (CCTV inspection), adjustment and reconstruction of manholes, valve boxes, and other utility facilities, along with comprehensive temporary traffic control, dust control, and stormwater pollution prevention measures.
