General Project Description

This project involves the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Sneath and Lake Potable Water Pump Stations in San Bruno, California. The scope includes new mechanical piping, HVAC systems, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, refurbishment of existing electrical/instrumentation, building improvements to meet current codes, civil site enhancements, and the installation of new generators. A building addition is planned for the Lake Pump Station, and a temporary bypass pumping system is also a required component. The project also covers site preparation, demolition, hazardous waste management, concrete work (formwork, reinforcing, precast), grouting, concrete masonry, miscellaneous metals, rough carpentry, insulation and roofing, metal flashing, joint sealants, door and access hatch installations, painting, identification devices, safety equipment, and extensive electrical and instrumentation work including conduit, wiring, grounding, variable frequency drives, control panels, and PLC/OI programming. Additionally, earthwork, trenching, backfilling, asphalt paving, chain link fencing, gate installation, and water utility installations are required.
