• Quantity: One (1) time  Unit: Week  Work Item: Irrigation Inspection: thorough inspection of all systems (including drip) for electronic operation and water distribution; complete and submit irrigation checklists.
• Quantity: Two (2) times  Unit: Year  Work Item: Pruning - Trees (Feb & Jul) for Medians Landscaped, Medians Hardscaped, Rights-of-Way, Slopes; Six (6) times per year for Pepper Trees. Maintain 8' clearance from street/sidewalk.
• Quantity: Four (4) times  Unit: Year  Work Item: Pruning - Shrubs and Groundcover (Apr 1 - Nov 30) for Medians Landscaped, Medians Hardscaped, Rights-of-Way, Slopes; Six (6) times per year for Open Space - Shrubs and Groundcover. Maintain natural appearance, prevent encroachment; shrubs no greater than 24" above curb, groundcover 12" above curb.
• Quantity: Four (4) times  Unit: Year  Work Item: Fertilization - Shrubs and Groundcover (Mar, May, Jul, Sep) for Medians Landscaped, Medians Hardscaped, Rights-of-Way, Slopes; Four (4) times per year for Open Space - Shrubs and Groundcover. Target 1 lb actual nitrogen per 1,000 SF.
• Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Turf Mowing: All turf grass, removing no more than 1/3 of blade, alternating patterns.
• Quantity: One (1) time  Unit: Month  Work Item: Turf Edging: All turf areas adjacent to improved surfaces.
• Quantity: As required  Unit: -  Work Item: Turf Renovation (Thatch Removal), with prior schedule and equipment submission.

• Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Plant Material Replacement: Replace trees, shrubs, groundcover damaged by negligence (Contractor's expense); City may require replacement of plants for aesthetic reasons (City pays extraordinary labor rate, materials at wholesale + 10%).
• Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Irrigation System Repair/Replacement (Extraordinary Labor): Various estimated repair times provided for repairing/replacing sprinkler system laterals, mains, vacuum breakers, control valves, controllers, heads, caps, risers, valve covers, boxes, lids, quick coupler valves, hose bibs, auto-sprinkler/gate/ball valves.
