General Project Description

The project involves providing complete maintenance, cleaning, testing, calibration, and repair services for medium voltage electrical switchgear, including associated medium voltage vacuum and low voltage air circuit breakers, protective relays, line interrupter switches, starters, instrument transformers, liquid-filled and dry type transformers, metering devices, and other associated components. Services will be performed according to ANSI/NETA MTS-2019 or current standards and manufacturer procedures. The work will be carried out at various City of San Diego Wastewater Collections (WWC) and Wastewater Treatment (WWT) divisions, including specific pump stations and wastewater treatment plants. The contract also includes the reconditioning/refurbishment of Class 1 power circuit breakers.
