San Diego City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, As-Needed Jetting and Pipe Cleaning, identified under Solicitation ID: 10090459-26-S. Work is to be performed near 1902 Gatchell Rd, San Diego, CA 92106, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
The City of San Diego's Public Utilities Department is seeking qualified bidders for as-needed jetting and pipe cleaning services for its wastewater treatment division. The project involves cleaning glass-lined piping, confined space sludge blend tanks, and raw/digested sludge pipelines. The scope includes providing all necessary equipment, a complete jetting system, and labor for jetting, flushing, and removing accumulation (heavy solids, struvite, calcium, vivianite, etc.) from various digester components, raw feed piping, recirculation piping, and heat exchangers using high-pressure hydro-blasting equipment. The contractor is responsible for the removal and transport of "cleaning byproduct" solids, which have specialized disposal requirements. Work is to be performed at three main facilities: Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant, North City Water Reclamation Plant, and South Bay Water Reclamation Plant.
