San Diego City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Slurry Seal Group 2626, identified under Solicitation ID: K-26-2430-DBB-3. Work is to be performed near Old Pacific Hwy Trail, California, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
This project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and construction for slurry seal, scrub seal, and cape seal work on existing paved roadways across various areas within the City of San Diego. The scope includes placement of rubber polymer modified slurry seal (RPMS) or polymer modified rejuvenating emulsion (PMRE) scrub seal and/or cape seal on approximately 33.6 lane miles of roadways. Key activities include crack sealing, asphalt mill and pave operations, pavement base repairs and digouts, milling and disposal of pavement fabric, and the development of a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan. The project also requires replacing traffic signal detection loops and stub outs, adjusting existing manhole frames and covers, raising appurtenances (water, sewer, survey monuments) to grade, reconstructing survey monument boxes, replacing survey monument lids, street and sidewalk sweeping, and installing or replacing thermoplastic striping, markings, and red curbs. Additional work covers implementing new striping plans, traffic control, weed abatement, storm drain inlet protection, installation of inlet markings, and sediment control, with potential for night and weekend work.
