San Diego City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Slurry Seal Group 2625, identified under Solicitation ID: K-26-2429-DBB-3. Work is to be performed near 202 C St, San Diego, CA 92101, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
This project involves providing construction services for Slurry Seal Group 2625, focusing on pavement maintenance throughout various areas of the City of San Diego. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services related to slurry seal, scrub seal, and cape seal work on existing paved roadways. Key tasks include the placement of Rubber Polymer Modified Slurry Seal (RPMS) and Polymer Modified Rejuvenating Emulsion (PMRE) Scrub Seal and/or Cape Seal on approximately 35.8 lane miles. Additional work encompasses crack sealing, asphalt mill and pave, pavement base repairs (digouts), milling and disposal of pavement fabric, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) for asphalt and surface seal work, replacement of traffic signal detection loops and stub outs, adjustment of existing City manhole frames/covers and other appurtenances (water, sewer, survey monuments) to grade, reconstruction of survey monument boxes, street and sidewalk sweeping, removal and replacement of existing thermoplastic striping and markings, implementation of new striping plans, traffic control (including drawings and permits), weed abatement, storm drain inlet protection, installation of inlet markings, and sediment control. Work may include night and weekend shifts, and Best Management Practices (BMPs) for erosion control are required.
