General Project Description

The City of San Diego is seeking as-needed concrete pumping services for a period of five years. The scope includes providing the labor, materials, and equipment to pump ready-mixed Portland cement concrete, delivered by the City's supplier, to various job sites within and outside San Diego City limits. This may involve pumping concrete up to 700 feet from the concrete delivery trucks' staging locations. The services will support various City departments, including Transportation, Stormwater, and Public Utilities, and will be priced based on set-up/breakdown fees, hourly pumping rates for different aggregate sizes (pea gravel, ¾-inch rock, 1-inch rock, 1½-inch big rock) and line sizes, and additional charges for hose lengths exceeding 150 feet.
