General Project Description

This project involves professional tree pruning services for approximately 500 street trees located throughout the Hayward Park neighborhoods within the City of San Mateo. The work must be completed by May 30, 2026, in accordance with ANSI A300 Tree Management Standards, ISA Best Management Practices, and City specifications. The scope includes reducing tree crowns, pruning live and dead branches, mitigating hazards, raising low limbs for clearance, clearing surrounding structures, and maintaining public safety and convenience during operations. Tool sanitation, site cleanup, and weekly work summaries are also required.

Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Tool Sanitation: Disinfect tools with 10% chlorine bleach solution after each cut and between trees suspected to be diseased.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Site Clean-up and Debris Removal: Removal of all debris produced during pruning/removal operations.
