San Mateo City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, El Camino Real Streetlight Relocation, identified under Solicitation ID: 463004. Work is to be performed near 330 W 20th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94403, USA in San Mateo County.

General Project Description

This project involves the relocation of streetlights and associated infrastructure along El Camino Real in the City of San Mateo, California. The work includes general mobilization, temporary traffic and pedestrian control, temporary lighting, and the removal and installation of various concrete elements (sidewalks, curbs, gutters, retaining curbs), asphalt pavement, and existing streetlights and their foundations. Key tasks also include installing salvaged and new streetlights with eccentric footings, connecting new streetlights to the existing lighting system, installing hot mix asphalt, bollards, painting red curbs, relocating streetlight and traffic signal conduits, and the removal, installation, and reinstallation of signs and electrical junction boxes and risers. The project will adhere to Caltrans Standard Plans and Specifications.
