General Project Description

This project involves the construction of an outdoor splash pad area, including spray elements, drainage, renovation and addition of restrooms, an outdoor shower with a tankless water heater, water reservoir tank, rain diverter valve, catch basin, new concrete paving, precast benches, 6’ metal fencing, gates, and a shade structure. The scope also includes excavation, grading, removal and replacement of asphalt concrete pavement and Portland cement concrete, landscaping, irrigation systems, utility connections, irrigation modification, and turf repair. Additionally, the project requires the removal and replacement of existing benches, fencing, dugouts, and backstops at nearby baseball fields. The work also includes the construction of a new splash pad utility building with concrete floors, CMU walls, metal pipe supports, vandal-resistant metal screens, wood framing, seamless metal roof with rigid insulation, paint finishes, vandal-resistant LED light fixtures, hollow metal doors and frames, and housing for new splash pad equipment systems, piping, venting, and sewer connections, along with metal fencing and gates to secure electrical equipment.
