Santa Ana City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Santiago Creek Pedestrian Bridge Improvements, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP NO. 26-003. Work is to be performed near 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701, USA in Orange County.
General Project Description
The City of Santa Ana is soliciting proposals for professional engineering services related to the Santiago Creek Pedestrian Bridge Improvements. This project entails the demolition of the existing 112-foot long, 3-span pedestrian bridge (connecting North Baker Street and West River Lane) and the design and construction support for a new pedestrian bridge. The comprehensive scope includes preparing environmental documents, detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge replacement, structural and civil engineering design adhering to AASHTO and Caltrans standards, ADA curb ramp design, right-of-way engineering, electrical design for bridge lighting, and various environmental impact studies and regulatory permitting. The selected consultant will also provide public outreach and construction support services.
