Santa Ana City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Traffic Signal Modification at MacArthur Boulevard and Flower Street, identified under Solicitation ID: 26-6009. Work is to be performed near MacArthur Blvd, Santa Ana, CA, USA in Orange County.

General Project Description

This project involves the comprehensive modification of the traffic signal system at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Flower Street. The scope includes furnishing and installing new traffic signal poles, associated conduits, fiber optic cables, video detection systems, Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS), emergency vehicle detection systems, new signage, and pavement striping. Related civil work entails the construction of wheelchair ramps, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalks, PCC curb ramps, and adjustment of surface utilities. The contractor is responsible for temporary traffic control, maintaining the work site (including debris and graffiti removal), and complying with California Green Building Standards Code for construction and demolition waste diversion (65% minimum). An Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) is required for review and implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs).
