General Project Description

This project involves the rehabilitation of minor streets in Simi Valley under the FY 2025-26 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program, supported by CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds. The scope includes traffic control, stormwater pollution control, tree maintenance (pruning, root barrier installation, removal), cold milling, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) improvements (sidewalk, cross gutter, curb and gutter, curb ramp replacement, sidewalk grinding, driveway approach reconstruction), asphalt concrete paving (including Asphalt Rubberized Hot Mix and speed humps), utility cover adjustments, and pavement delineation. The work will be performed by a State of California Class A licensed contractor or by specialty contractors with appropriate Class B or C licenses.
