General Project Description

This public works project involves the rehabilitation of minor streets primarily focused on concrete improvements within various locations in Simi Valley for the fiscal year 2025-26. The scope includes traffic control and maintenance, stormwater pollution control measures, construction surveying, and a significant component of tree-related work such as evaluation, trimming, root pruning, root barrier placement, and tree removal. Concrete work comprises sawcutting, removal, and reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, curb and gutter, concrete cross/longitudinal gutters, and residential driveway approaches. Additionally, it involves PCC sidewalk grinding at lifted joints and the installation of truncated dome detectable warning surfaces.
