General Project Description

The Snowline Joint Unified School District is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for a multi-year contract to provide E-Rate eligible Wide Area Network (WAN) services for its PreK-12 school system. The project involves supplying, installing, configuring, testing, starting up, servicing, and maintaining high-speed telecommunications services. These services will connect the district's data center at 4075 Nielson Road, Phelan, CA, to 12 designated school sites and include a handoff to the Victor Valley College CENIC Node. A key requirement is to provide symmetrical, full-duplex network links of at least 10 Gbps for all sites, with options for potential growth up to 40 Gbps. The awarded contractor must supply and maintain all equipment necessary to interface with existing district networking equipment and comply with all E-Rate program policies, including possessing a valid USAC Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Federal Communications Commission Registration Number (FCCRN) with Green Light Status.
