Stockton City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Fire Co. 2 Emergency Communications Division Remodel Phase 1, identified under Solicitation ID: OM-26-011. Work is to be performed near 110 W Sonora St, Stockton, CA 95203, USA in San Joaquin County.
General Project Description
This project involves the comprehensive remodel of three rooms within the Emergency Communications Division building at City of Stockton Fire Station No. 2. The scope of work includes general requirements and site preparation (project management, debris removal, dust control), a remodel of the small restroom (shower removal, plumbing capping, new wall construction, existing tile removal and new 24"x24" tile installation), a remodel of the AMR Room (dorm wall removal, interior roof ladder removal, entrance door replacement with storefront glass, carpet patching, wall and ceiling preparation/painting, installation of new dedicated electrical circuits for workstations, six new LED ceiling lights, one new light switch, cut and frame opening for new office window), and a remodel of the locker room (existing accordion door removal and new accordion door installation, locker removal, HVAC ductwork modification/rebalance, new wall construction with pocket door for "Wellness Room", new 6" rubber base installation, wall and ceiling preparation/painting, and one new LED ceiling light and one new light switch for "Wellness Room").

- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Small Restroom Remodel: Remove existing shower and cap plumbing. Haul and properly dispose of demolished and removed material. Construct new wall. Remove and dispose of all existing wall tiles. Prepare walls for smooth and level surface. Install new 24”x24” wall tiles, including grout and all required materials.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: AMR Room Remodel: Removal of four (4) dorm walls. Removal of interior roof ladder. Remove and replace entrance door with a storefront glass door. Haul and properly dispose of demolished and removed material. Carpet patching. Patch, prepare and paint existing walls and ceilings with approved colors (determined by Fire Department). Furnish and install four (4) new dedicated electrical circuits for new dispatch workstations. Furnish and install six (6) new LED ceiling lights and one (1) light switch. Cut opening in existing wall, frame and install new office window.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Locker Room Remodel: Remove existing accordion door and replace with a new accordion door. Remove lockers. Haul and properly dispose of demolished and removed material. Modify and rebalance HVAC ductwork to optimize air distribution and airflow balance. Construct new wall with pocket door to create new “Wellness Room”. Furnish and install new 6” rubber base throughout the locker room. Patch, prepare and paint walls and ceilings with approved colors (determined by Fire Department). Furnish and install one (1) new LED ceiling light and one (1) light switch for new “Wellness Room”.
