General Project Description
The City of Stockton Municipal Utilities Department is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consulting firms to assess the condition of the North-South Sewer Interceptor (Project No. UW20018). The project aims to determine the condition of the force main, its useful life, and the feasibility for its continued operation. The scope includes project management, developing a failure risk model, preparing recommendation memos for assessment tools/technologies, drafting bid documents for physical inspection, providing engineering services during the bidding and condition assessment phases, and preparing a final technical memorandum. The interceptor is approximately 6.5 miles long with diameters of 24-inch, 30-inch, and 33-inch, transporting wastewater from North Stockton to the Regional Wastewater Control Facility.
