Stockton City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Perimeter Weed Control at the Regional Wastewater Control Facility, identified under Solicitation ID: PUR 26-022. General Project Description
The City of Stockton is seeking qualified vendors to perform perimeter weed control at its Regional Wastewater Control Facility. The project involves an initial cleanup (if applicable) followed by two complete weed spray/control applications annually (fall and spring) to maintain weed-free conditions for the five-year contract duration. The contractor is responsible for weekly inspections, re-spraying any weed re-growth over three inches, proper disposal of waste materials (including on-site disposal of organic waste), and notifying the City of rodent evidence. The work requires furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and insurance, and strict adherence to specifications including providing Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and application schedules for all chemicals used, and protecting existing desirable plantings like Elderberry trees.
