General Project Description

The project involves the construction of an 18-inch sewer line along Via Centre, boring across Hacienda Drive and the SR-78 Freeway in Vista, CA. The scope includes the installation of four 60-inch manholes, approximately 350 feet of boring beneath the freeway, 400 feet of trenching along Via Centre, and reconstructing two service laterals. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for constructing boring and receiving pits (trenching to depths of up to 28 feet with proper shoring), and performing associated surface repairs such as the rehabilitation of curb, gutter, sidewalk, ADA pedestrian ramps, driveways, resurfacing Via Centre, and restoring disturbed landscaping. This also includes all necessary permits, traffic control, and demolition of existing infrastructure.
