General Project Description
The City of Vista is requesting proposals for professional services for the E. Vista Way Raised Median Project, which is federally funded by a Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant. The project involves constructing landscaped raised medians, upgrading traffic signs, and retroreflective backplates at existing traffic signals on E. Vista Way between Williamston Street and Taylor Street. The scope of professional services includes design surveying, underground utility survey, geotechnical investigation, engineering design (including landscape design, geometric, and drainage), construction staking, construction material testing, and construction support. The consultant team will include a qualified engineering firm (lead consultant) and a landscape architectural firm (subconsultant).
