General Project Description

This project involves the cleaning and condition assessment of approximately 146,600 linear feet of 6-inch to 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains within Council Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 of the City of San José. The work includes cleaning and video inspection of these sewer segments, with collected data to be incorporated into the Sanitary Sewer Engineering Section's Info360 Asset database for future project scoping. All video inspections must adhere to NASSCO's Pipeline Assessment Certification Program standards. The scope also includes locating and raising buried manholes, traffic control, waste removal and disposal, and allowances for permits and sewage flow diversion.
