San Jose City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, 10423 - Sanitary Sewer Repairs FY 2024-2025 Package V, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 200 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95113, USA in Santa Clara County.
General Project Description
This project involves the repair and rehabilitation of sanitary sewer systems within the City of San José. The primary scope includes pre-construction CCTV inspection of approximately 10,965 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch to 8-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) sanitary sewer main. Key work items consist of the removal and replacement of approximately 1,030 LF of 6-inch VCP sanitary sewer main, point repairs to existing sanitary sewer mains as recommended, and the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners for 10,965 LF of VCP sanitary sewer main. Additional tasks include removing and replacing three (3) sanitary sewer cleanouts/flushing inlets with new standard sanitary sewer manholes, rehabilitating seven (7) existing sanitary sewer manholes, removing manhole rungs, and reconnecting/reinstating active sanitary sewer service laterals. The project also encompasses general civil engineering tasks such as clearing, grubbing, obstruction removal, new pipe conduit installation, saw cutting, pavement restoration, curb and gutter restoration, median island landscaping, cleaning and video inspection of sewer mains and laterals, and protection of existing utilities.
