General Project Description

This project involves the replacement of 908 vanities within student bathrooms across the Rieber Vista, Rieber Terrace, and Hedrick Summit residence halls on the University of California, Los Angeles campus. The work includes comprehensive demolition and removal of existing vanity counters, sinks, faucets, and associated plumbing. New installations will consist of integral solid surface sink/counters, modern faucets, and complete plumbing reconnections. The scope also encompasses necessary rough carpentry for vanity supports, thorough joint sealing, and interior painting as part of the finish work. The project will be executed in phases (submittals and procurement, followed by construction) while the buildings remain occupied, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption to residents. Vanities in accessible suites are explicitly excluded as they are addressed under a separate project.
